Who Should attend? Teams of High School Staff including Administrators, Counsellors, Career Practioners and CTS Lead Teachers
Are you interested in finding out about:
The revised CTS curriculum? Clusters? Pathways? Credentials? Business, Administration, Finance and
Information Technology (BIT)?Trades, Manufacturing and Transportation (TMT)? The following questions will be addressed in the session:
- What does the revised curriculum look like?
- How will the revised program affect students, teachers, administrators and counsellors?
- How will the revised program affect student career planning?
There will also be information shared about acquisition and development activities for learning and teaching resources as well as plans for CTS Learning and Teaching Resource Review Centres. Time will be allocated for questions and answers.
About the presenters:
Fred Smith has taught CTS courses in Alberta for thirty two years. His experience includes the following strands: Communication, Construction, Cosmetology, Design Studies, Electro-technologies, Fabrication, Information Processing and Mechanics.
Gloria Perrin a retired teacher having taught junior and senior high school CTS for the Calgary Board of Education since1988. Her experience includes teaching information processing, computer applications, financial management, law, video editing, web design and graphics.
