About the workshop:

Curriculum overview (what has changed), algebraic reasoning, patterning and probability– how do we reinforce conceptualization of these concepts using manipulatives. Focus on patterns, communication, problem-solving, personal strategies and mental math. Come prepared to discuss, share and collaborate with your colleagues.

 

About the Presenter(s):

Sylvia Malo is a full time Math Coordinator/Consultant for Learning Network. Sylvia has also been involved in conducting in-services at her district level and at Math Summer Institutes in Edmonton.
