About the workshop:

This session will look closely at the “Front Matter” of the new curriculum as well as look at the changes at the Grade 2 and 5 levels.  Developing and using personal strategies will be explored as we look at the outcomes in the new Program of Studies.  Teachers will leave this session knowing what has changed, understanding what the mathematical processes are, and a sense of what the outcomes will look like in their classroom.

 

 

About the Presenter:

Ron Lindsay is currently the Principal of the School of Hope & AISI Coordinator for East Central Catholic School Division, and a part-time Math Coordinator/Consultant for Learning Network. Ron was also a Math/Science Consultant with the Fort McMurray Catholic School Division.
