About the workshop:

Problem solving can be a powerful teaching tool that can foster multiple, creative and innovative solutions.  This session will explore ways to create an environment where students look for and engage in solving problems.  During the activities various mental math approaches will be used and discussed.  You will leave with ideas to use in your classroom that will challenge students to learn and share through problem solving.

 

 

 

About the Presenter:

Ron Lindsay is currently the Principal of the School of Hope & AISI Coordinator for East Central Catholic School Division, and a part-time Math Coordinator/Consultant for Learning Network. Ron was also a Math/Science Consultant with the Fort McMurray Catholic School Division.
