About the workshop:

Curriculum overview (what has changed), algebraic reasoning, patterning and number– how do we reinforce conceptualization of these concepts using manipulatives. Focus on patterns, communication, problem-solving, personal strategies and mental math (am). Shape & Space – how do reinforce visual-spatial conceptualization of these concepts using manipulatives. Come prepared to discuss, share and collaborate with your colleagues.

 

 

About the Presenter:

Ron Lindsay is the principal of the School of Hope, AISI Coordinator for East Central Catholic School Division and part-time Math Professional Development Coordinator for Learning Network. Ron is also part of the Alberta Education/Learning Network Math In-service cohort.
