The Blanket Exercise- is a simulation when participants actively role-play through pre-colonization, treaties, residential school experiences, and how they have brought the relationship between Indigenous Peoples and Canadian society to where they are today. Debriefing the experience leads us to examine a multitude of perspectives over time and place.  Presenter, Glenda Bristow is a Cree woman from Frog Lake, Alberta. Glenda is an experienced teacher, and principal and is currently Director of Technology and Programs for St. Paul Education.

Approaching Protocol and Ceremony- Tanisi. We can all recall times when we felt uncomfortable entering new or foreign surroundings. "What do I say - or not say?”,  " What do I do-or not do?”, " How do I show respect?”  In short, how can I be accepted and trusted. Those first impressions and steps are so very important. Consider this your invitation to begin along a rich and rewarding cultural journey together.  Clifford Cardinal is a teacher at St Paul Regional High School, and a respected cultural knowledge keeper.  Cliff will guide us towards understanding and respecting cultural protocols and ceremonies that have sustained Cree culture over millennia, welcoming us to build a trusting relationship to better understand each other.
