Missy Steeves
Missy Steeves is a teacher with Sturgeon Public, currently on secondment to the Alberta Assessment Consortium, a not-for-profit education partner in the province, focused on everyday assessment to support student learning. She has taught elementary and junior high, most recently focusing on junior high social studies and English language arts. Missy also works as an association instructor with the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Additionally, Missy is completing her doctoral studies in Adult Education. Currently, Missy is away from her classroom, working with teachers as a field services facilitator with AAC. Missy is passionate about working with teachers and is looking forward to using what she’s learned during her secondment when she returns to her classroom.
