Historical implications of colonization including Residential schools have contributed to many negative social realities within an Indigenous context then and now. This webinar will reveal core causes of Intergenerational Trauma and its social implications, explore Indigenous wellness methods, and challenge negative stereotypes embedded in society.
Crystal Clark
Crystal Clark is currently a Walking Together: Education for Reconciliation consultant with the Alberta Teachers Association. She is Fort McMurray Métis and a proud mother. She holds a Masters of Educational Technology, BED,BFA, New Media Diploma, and a Native Creative Writing and Visual Arts Diploma from the En’owkin Center. Along with teaching, she has experience as a Vice Principal and First Nations Student Success Program coordinator. She has received a Prime Minister's Teaching Achievement Award, Esquao Award for Education, Peace Hills Trust Award Recipient, and a BC Festival of the Arts Media scholarship.
