• Lise Tremblay, French Publisher for Pearson Canada, will describe the features and components of the new FSL resource Jusqu'au bout! (Grade 10-12). She will also give a demonstration of the online components of the program. 

Hot off the press new resource for Core French! Intensify your language classes. It is built entirely around the language proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), levels A2, B1 and B2. This is also why this resource can be used with French Immersion learners. These resources offer many authentic and meaningful social situations, in terms of level and age. Each situation includes a series of common texts, audio texts as well as written texts, which lead students to perform an action task. Many materials are also available to help the teacher and students succeed: teaching notes with information capsules about the CEFR, slides, activity and evaluation sheets, audio recordings, resources such as a lexicon, a list of strategies and a functional language library for students. You won't want to miss this!! Handouts provided with many activities that you can use tomorrow including cultural activities and resources to promote literacy and Aboriginal perspectives and awareness.
