A few weeks ago, you were asked to stay home. You were also asked to offer at-home learning opportunities for an indefinite period of time. For many of us, it can be daunting. The purpose of this workshop is to help you. This series of 4 sessions will provide you with engaging math activities that can be done at home. The activities you will see are either directly linked to your grade-level learning outcomes (Alberta Program of Studies) or help promote the development of one or more mathematical processes. They will vary in nature and format (paper/pencil, online) but they will all be flexible enough for you to differentiate when needed.
Renée Michaud is a consultant in mathematics. She has been developing her sessions in both languages and presenting them throughout Alberta and beyond for more than a decade. Her practical approach in a workshop situation and her great knowledge in mathematics make her a sought-after presenter. Renée taught French immersion in Calgary for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Campus St-Jean, U of A.
