About the Session

Join Barb Belcourt for a series of lessons to learn some basic Cree Language essentials to allow you to engage with students in Cree in the school setting. You will learn basic greetings, introductions, conversation starters and O’Canada. Each lesson includes a take home task or activity to practice your learning in between each session.

About the Presenters

Barb Belcourt

Barb Belcourt has a First Nations Cree background and is a Cree Language Instructor and Indigenous Liaison with Peace Wapiti Public School Division.

Registration Fee: $25.00

Registration Notes:

Participants will need a note pad, writing utensil and a folder for provided handouts. Each lesson is accompanied with practice activities for in-between sessions.
